AccuAir VU4 4-way Manifold
Even though AccuAir considers pressure gauges to be something of the past, adding these ports seemed to be the only consistent request on the previous VU4. AccuAir decided to go with 1/4" NPT instead of 1/8" NPT so that these ports could also be used when customers wants to run hard-line to the bags. The plugs are pre-installed, sealed, and leak-tested.
SMC Brand D.O.T. / P.T.C. Cartridge fittings: This is a better overall fitting than those used in the previous VU4. The collets on the new SMC fittings are much more durable and have a much higher retention capability. Airline removal is much easier and all of the temperature specs are much better.
All other aspects remain the same as the previous VU4.
Mounting hole pattern, maximum operate pressure (200 psi), maximum flow capability, and overall reliability. AccuAir put the new VU4 through rigorous testing and they are confident (as are we) that it is an even better product than the previous version.
